Consultations
An average consultation will be 20 to 30 minutes. During this consultation, numerous childhood illnesses and problems are discussed. Consultations vary from a normal healthy child to acute severe illnesses.
Some of these include:
Colds and flu
Chest infections
Gastroenteritis
Ear nose and throat conditions
Rashes
Fever
Constipation
Bladder infections
Behavioural problems
Developmental problems
Headaches
Growth and nutrition
Parental worries and concerns
All consultations in the room are based on a Cash only basis ( IE Cash/EFT) – you will receive an invoice which you can submit to your medical aid.
For inpatients – we will submit and claim from Medical Aid on behalf of the patient.
A patient information form will be emailed to you and should be completed and returned prior to the appointment.
Take your child directly to Netcare Umhlanga Hospital.
There is a Casualty Doctor on duty 24 hours a day who will contact Dr. Dukhi if necessary.
During office hours, call the rooms first.
